Welcome to BOB Fusion Season 3!

This guide shows you how to connect to BOB and asks you to give us some key information so we can feature your project on our dashboard and, most importantly, show you how to distribute “Spice” points to your users.

What’s new in Season 3?

This guide has been updated to include changes to Fusion for Season 3.

• Season 3 points are tracked separately from Season 2 points on our backend.
  • Existing API endpoints will start returning only Season 3 data when it goes live on Monday, Sep 23rd.
  • There isn't a specific hour set yet, so you’re encouraged to turn off automatic distributions and do a manual transition from Sunday-Tuesday if you'd like to be extra careful.
  • If you need to GET or POST Season 2 data after Sep 23, you can use the new /partners-s2 and /distribute-points-s2 API endpoints.
  • You don’t have to change anything to continue distributing points. Current API routes and fields will stay the same to avoid breaking your business logic.
• Gas-based Spice has been replaced with Community Voting. TVL is still the main source of Spice.
• There are new Spice-generating tokens: Bitcoin LSTs and LRTs! </aside>

Onboarding Checklist

• [ ] Generate your referral link for BOB Fusion
• [ ] Join the “BOB Builders Guild” Telegram, a private group for announcements and meeting other teams
• [ ] Deploy your smart contracts on BOB (see Useful Links for network information)
• [ ] **Fill out this form to be featured on our BOB Fusion site and get your Spice API key**
• [ ] Plan and build your method of distributing Spice to your users with our API (details below)

If your project is a Bitcoin LST/LRT:

• [ ] Fill out this form to request whitelisting a new token to be eligible for Spice
• [ ] Make sure you have a price feed on one or more of BOB’s oracles so lending and CDP apps can integrate your token

BOB Fusion Overview

BOB Fusion is an ecosystem growth campaign. TVL, community voting, and referrals generate Spice points. Use BOB Fusion’s Spice points as a tool to bootstrap liquidity or incentivize the usage of your application to kick off your growth on BOB. Projects on our dashboard are sorted by Spice distributed per hour, calculated with a seven-day rolling average.

Projects must distribute at least 80% of their Spice to users.

Up to 20% can be kept for things like a DAO treasury or future growth campaigns. This 20% is cumulative across Seasons, even though our APIs differentiate between Season 1+2 vs Season 3 data.
